Egypt: Cairo Institute for human rights publishes report on human rights in the Arab world
The Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies issued its second report on the state of human rights in the Arab world, including a section on the situation of human rights defenders.

The report covers 12 countries and presents cases of violations against human rights defenders in Syria,Tunisia, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Yemen, Algeria, Egypt and Sudan.The report concludes that the state of human rights in the countries reviewed has worsened compared to 2008.
