Rwandan journalist threatened

An editor of an independent Rwandan newspaper has been receiving phone calls from anonymous callers threatening to beat him to death. Bosco Gasasira has also been under military surveillance since 10 August. It is believed that he is being targeted by the Rwandan authorities for refusing to disclose the whereabouts of the editor of one of Rwanda’s other independent newspapers
